Hello, we are pleased to say our newly painted and refurbished “letters to heaven” post box has been put back outside our Birkenshaw branch. We have moved this to under our stairs (to stop general mail being posted!) and we’ve made it a little lower, as we had some feedback that some of the children couldn’t quite reach x

Our letter to heaven post box at our Birkenshaw chapel was looking tired so we have removed it this afternoon for a full refurbishment, hopefully will be back up sometime next week.

We still have the ones in use at our Batley Chapel
492-494 Bradford Road, WF17 5JY

and our Wibsey Chapel, 432 Halifax Road, BD6 2JY

Please fell free though to use our main letterbox on the door at our Birkenshaw chapel, we will make sure they get sent the same as the post boxes.

Our birkenshaw chapel will be closed today due to the power cut. You can still contact us and the phones will be answered at our other chapels.

The gateway girls are out for Sharon’s birthday this evening…thank you so much to Paul Simpson (one of our wonderful celebrants) who called ahead to the restaurant and surprised her with a bottle of fizz….such a kind and lovely gesture 🥂
