Life isn’t about finding yourself, life is about creating yourself."

We often wait for clarity, purpose, or the “perfect time” to discover who we are; but the truth is, you’re not something to be found, you’re something to be built. Every choice, every habit, every risk you take shapes the person you become.

You are the artist. Your life is the canvas. Create boldly.
"But you, dear friends, must build up your lives ever more strongly upon the foundation of our holy faith,....." Jude 1:20

Here’s how to start creating/building yourself:
1. Define your values, not society’s.
Decide what matters to you — joy, freedom, growth, creativity, kindness and build a life that aligns with those values.

2. Be a beginner on purpose.
Try new things without needing to be great at them. Growth begins where comfort ends.

3. Design daily habits that shape your future self.
Who do you want to be? Wake up and act like them. Small habits today become identity tomorrow.

4. Surround yourself with builders, not doubters.
Your environment either expands you or limits you. Choose people who inspire your evolution.

5. Rewrite your story anytime.
You don’t find a better version of yourself, you create it. Reinvent as many times as life inspires you to.

You are a work in progress and a masterpiece at the same time.
Don’t wait to be discovered, start designing the life and the “You” you dream of.

Bible Passage 8 of 35 as promised
"Do to others as you would like them to do to you."
Luke 6:31

This verse has shaped how I relate with my husband. It’s such a simple truth, yet so powerful, the "Golden Rule".
Imagine how beautiful marriages (and the world!) would be if we all lived by this. 🤔

Treat your spouse the way you wish to be treated — with love, patience, kindness, understanding and respect.

Don’t Let Social Media Ruin Your Marriage 💞

No marriage is perfect because no human being is perfect.
Angels don’t marry! 😅

The truth is, it’s our imperfections as human beings that lead to the conflicts we experience in marriage and relationships.

That’s why you must be careful about what you believe on social media, especially those posts that quickly tell you to “walk away.”

Every successful marriage requires work — and that work begins with working on yourself.

Sometimes, we’re quick to notice the speck in our spouse’s eyes while ignoring the log in ours. The reality is that who you are determines the kind of challenges you’ll face in marriage.

Before you decide to give up on your marriage, please make sure you have truly exhausted every possible step to redeem the situation:

1. Discover your personality type (and your spouse’s). We interpret life through our wiring — a mix of upbringing, environment, and emotional experiences. Understanding this helps you manage differences better.

2. Understand your love languages. We all have unique ways we express and receive love. Knowing each other’s love language can prevent a lot of unnecessary pain.

3. Have a marriage mentor. Every couple needs a voice of wisdom, someone both of you can listen to and trust, especially in tough times that are common to all marriages

4. Seek professional help.
A qualified Marriage Counsellor or Family Life Practitioner can help both of you unpack your challenges and offer personalized guidance.

Unfortunately, many people hesitate to invest in counselling, but don’t think twice about paying hospital bills when they’re physically ill, forgetting that a hurting marriage can lead to physical illness

There’s no marriage made in heaven.
It’s here on earth that we build blissful marriage with patience, understanding, and a willingness to grow.

If you feel your marriage/relationship is struggling or you just need clarity, send me a DM.
Let’s work together to rebuild love, trust, and connection in your marriage. 💖

The 7th of the 35 Bible passages I promised to share ✨

📖 Ephesians 4:26–27 (KJV)
“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.”

As couples, misunderstandings will surely come, but we must not let anger take control. Instead, we should learn how to manage our emotions and not allow things to get out of hand.

Many marital crises begin with something small, a simple disagreement that escalates because couples fail to handle their misunderstanding properly, and in doing so, they “give place to the devil.”

From this scripture, I’ve learned not to hold grudges, especially against my spouse. Walking in forgiveness is key to a blissful marriage. 💞

This is the 6th of 35 bible verses I promise to share to celebrate my 35 years of marriage.

Psalm 133:1, 3 (GNT)
“How wonderful it is, how pleasant… to live together in harmony! … That is where the Lord has promised His blessing, life that never ends.”

This passage reminds me how powerful unity is, especially in marriage. I’ve learned not to let disagreements linger. Peace invites God’s presence, but strife pushes His blessings away.

Where there is harmony, there is God’s blessing. 💖🙏

COMMON COMMUNICATION PITFALLS.

1. INTERRUPTING: Cutting off your partner while they are speaking can lead to misunderstandings and feelings of disrespect.

2. ASSUMING INTENT: Jumping to conclusions about what your partner means can create unnecessary conflict. Always seek clarification instead.

3. USING ABSOLUTES: Phrases like "You always" or "You never" can make your partner feel attacked and defensive, rather than fostering constructive dialogue.

4. AVOIDING DIFFICULT TOPICS: Shying away from important discussions can lead to unresolved issues and resentment over time.

5. NONVERBAL CUES: Ignoring body language or tone can send mixed messages and create confusion about your true feelings.

6. BLAMING: Focusing on blame rather than solutions can escalate arguments and hinder effective communication.*: Cutting off your partner while they are speaking can lead to misunderstandings and feelings of disrespect.

HOW TO OVERCOME COMMUNICATION PITFALLS

1. PRACTICE PATIENCE: Allow your partner to finish speaking before responding. This shows respect and encourages open dialogue.

2. ASK QUESTIONS: Instead of assuming what your partner means, ask clarifying questions to ensure you understand their perspective.

3. AVOID ABSOLUTES: Use specific examples instead of generalizations. This helps to address issues without making your partner feel attacked.

4. CREATE SPACE: Establish an environment where both partners feel comfortable discussing difficult topics without fear of judgment.

5. BE MINDFUL OF NONVERBAL SIGNALS: Pay attention to your body language and tone, and ensure they align with your words to avoid mixed messages.

6. FOCUS ON SOLUTIONS: Instead of blaming, work together to find solutions to problems. This fosters teamwork and strengthens the relationship.
