Your feedback, reflections, and support truly mean a lot. Hearing how it resonated reminds me why I started this journey to create honest, healing conversations for our community.

Today’s post was meant to be something completely different… but there’s a chance it might not have been made at all.

On Monday, while driving on the motorway, my tyre suddenly burst and started smoking. Thankfully, I’d already reduced my speed to 50mph. Later I was told that if I had been going 70mph, the car could have flipped.

In that moment, my partner quickly secured our son while I tried to control the car. My life flashed before my eyes.

We were supported by people who reminded me of the goodness that still exists in the world
a white British highways officer and an Asian roadside recovery worker. At a time when so much hate and division is being pushed across this country, we were met with care, safety, and compassion. The recovery worker, in particular, went above and beyond to get us home safely.

Why am I sharing this? Because it reminded me of something a client said to me on Monday evening, after I had to cancel his session:

💡 “As long as you’re not badly injured, the car can always be replaced. Money can’t buy life.”

I’m grateful to be here, grateful for my family, and grateful for the strangers who helped us when we needed it most. 🙏🏾
