It’s hard to believe it’s already been a week since our unforgettable Gala Evening here at Metchley Manor… and what a truly special day it was. 💫

We’ve been reliving those beautiful moments through this wonderful video, so thoughtfully put together, capturing the joy, laughter, elegance and togetherness that filled our home from start to finish. 🎥

From the incredible atmosphere, to the outstanding dining experience, and of course celebrating our amazing team – it was a day that reminded us exactly what makes Metchley Manor so special.

🏅🏆Today we had the absolute pleasure of hosting our Metchley Manor Award Winning Giving & Celebration Afternoon – Care UK Stars of 2026 ✨

An unforgettable day dedicated to celebrating the true heart of our home… our incredible residents 💛💜

Each award presented told a story of individuality. It was such a privilege to recognise and honour the wonderful people who make Metchley Manor so special.

Our talented Head Chef Scott Tame and his kitchen team delivered an outstanding menu that truly elevated the occasion, making it a full sensory celebration 🍽️✨

A huge thank you to Chris Beahan our piano man and Barry Styles for hosting our awards ceremony so brilliantly and bringing the energy as he carried us through into a fantastic afternoon of music and celebration🎶

There has been so much to today… and we’re not finished just yet 👀

Setting the tone, our talented piano man Chris Beahan will provide a beautiful live soundtrack, while the ever-charismatic Barry Styles hosts the day with style and charm. 🎹🪗🎤🎙️

🏡🥕🥔Today’s activity was all about meaningful moments and material citizenship celebrating the importance of everyday tasks that bring purpose, familiarity and a sense of home 🏡💜

There’s something truly special in the simple things peeling carrots, preparing potatoes, and sharing stories along the way. These small, hands on moments can spark memories, encourage conversation, and create a real sense of belonging.

Sometimes, it’s the simplest activities that bring the greatest joy 🥕🥔✨

We had the most beautiful morning here at Metchley Manor, as Anita from Phoenix Children’s Foundation joined us with the most adorable little lambs 🐑🌸

There was such a lovely sense of spring in the air, celebrating new beginnings, Easter, and all the joy that this season brings.

What was truly special to see was just how relaxed and content our residents became when holding the lambs. There’s something incredibly calming about being close to animals a gentle, therapeutic moment that brought so much comfort, warmth, and happiness to everyone involved 💛

Our residents absolutely loved the experience – there were smiles, laughter, and some very special moments shared with these gentle little visitors.

It’s days like these that truly bring the magic to life here at Metchley Manor ✨

🌟 Running for a Cause Close to Our Hearts 🌟

We are incredibly proud to share that our wonderful carer Nazia is taking on the ultimate challenge this April — running 26.2 miles 🏃‍♂️

She’s pushing herself to the limit to stand in solidarity with those living with dementia and to support the incredible work of the Alzheimer’s Society 💙

Every mile she runs represents the millions of people whose memories are affected by this cruel disease, and the families who walk alongside them every day.

Residents were extremely focused at our latest ‘Knit and and Natter’ session. Held in our stunning bistro and run by fantastic volunteers the sessions combine reminiscence, socialising, practically skills and the immense satisfaction of producing something.
