Take a walk…

A rose garden Labyrinth Walk

A walking meditation bringing you home to the centre. Walking alone or with others. Walking in silence or walking & talking. Moving with purpose or meandering each path.

Join us on World Labyrinth Day Saturday May 2nd to Walk as One at 1pm. The event includes access to the grounds on the day from 12:30. Optional drinks and snacks are available to buy.

After the walk we meet again at 2pm for a guided still meditation outdoors weather permitting. Or inside the event space.

Come as you are, walk the labyrinth, be in nature & be part of the wave of peace across all time zones. As people walk Labyrinths in their countries from New Zealand to Hawaii - in a period of history when we need Labyrinths to bloom again. When the world and people need peace & healing.
Help us hold space for Studley advocating for our corner of the world in this global event.

We walked to find this beauty, a pause, a mother daughter Easter break moment.

Life’s a bit tough sometimes, it helps to stop & sit together 🩵

As the last stone of the Bodmin Labyrinth in Cornwall called “Kerdroya” has been laid, it marks the end of a 7yr project. A new labyrinth at 56m diameter over a mile long.

As the world needs holding, the walk unfolds. If Cornwall is a little far, then simply join us in Studley, Warwickshire Rose Garden Labyrinth on May 2nd to be part of World Labyrinth Day.

We simply Walk as One at 1:00. You will be invited to walk the Labyrinth, creating a wave of peace across the globe. A meditation walk inwards.
Gathering in the grounds after at 2:00 for a guided meditation together.

Walk As One - World Labyrinth Day Saturday May 2nd 12:30-2:30.

In the quiet turning of the path,
where nature softens every step,
we gather — not in haste,
but in intention.

The labyrinth waits,
not to confuse,
but to invite —
a slow remembering.

One step… and breath.
Another… and release.
The world beyond the hedges fades,
as something deeper comes into reach.

At one o’clock, across the earth,
feet meet soil in sacred rhythm —
a thousand journeys,
one shared pulse.

Walk with us, meeting at 12:30, walking the Rose Garden Labyrinth at 1:00, re-gathering at 2:00 for a guided meditation.
Snacks and drinks will be available to purchase through the afternoon.

Come and be part of this wave of peace, come with your energy to experience Coughton.

Labyrinths bloom and re-emerge when the world needs them. Coughton Rose Garden Labyrinth will bloom, guide & welcome you.

A Mothers Earth symbol, hundreds of miles in diameter, is etched into the desert floor…

From the 1992 X‑Men Vol. 2 #7 comic.

Today it made me smile looking at it - thinking about motherhood.

Not a straight road.
Not a map you can follow.

A labyrinth.

A winding path where you sometimes feel close to the centre… and sometimes like you’ve wandered miles away again.

Motherhood asks you to walk it anyway.

Step by step.
Year by year.
Learning patience, courage, surrender and love along the way.

To the mothers guiding others through their own labyrinth…
and to the mothers still walking their own path of becoming —

Happy Mother’s Day.

May you remember that even when the path twists,
you are always moving toward the centre.

Kings Heath Village Square Labyrinth 126.5m long & 12m diameter. A seven circuit left handed labyrinth open to anyone to walk.

Which I did today in the bright sunlight.

No one walked with me, but people were around & wished me happy new year. Pigeons stepped on & off and flew in a flock. One had a wire caught round its leg and two ladies spent over an hour coaxing it close enough with bird seed to help remove it.

Traffic on the high street moved along.

It focused my head & released it at the same time.

It’s set my course for 2025, for our new health club, and our first .with.us

Sat in the park being the responsible parent to my youngest who wants to hang out with her friends but I don’t trust the world enough to let her do that alone just yet. I’m sat a little way away on a bench listening to on the podcast. Of whom the aforementioned is said daughter’s favourite show (kind of sound like her now!)

It’s got me thinking about the introverted extrovert thing & being a highly sensitive person. About being happy & peaceful sat in my cat’s presence! About being a woman & all the daily expectations that come with that.

Then my really good true friends. The ones who take me as I am. However frequently or infrequently that is. It’s funny where your mind goes when you’re not “doing.”

It’s a mental world sometimes but the oddest moments on park benches bring such lovely grounding. There really is something in listening to other people’s experiences & being able to connect those with your own.

I’ll go home & organise my bookshelf because I’m sure the rest of the week will not work if I don’t deal with it today. It’s only been looking at me in its current disheveled state for the past 6mths. But today feels like the day.

Hope you get chance for a moment this week 🫶🏼
