“This winter, let’s wrap someone in warmth and kindness. If you have any spare winter coats, please consider donating them. Your small act of love can make a big difference in someone’s life. Together, let’s spread comfort and compassion.”

💚 Could you donate a winter coat to help keep someone warm?

✨ If you’re having a clear-out before Christmas, we’re happily accepting good-quality, second-hand winter coats at all of our Sandwell Libraries.

🧤 We’re also collecting scarves, hats, gloves and other warm clothing for children and adults. All we ask is that everything is clean, in good condition, and gloves come in pairs.

💚 And if you or your little one need a coat or something warm, each library has a rail you can browse. Please take whatever you need — no questions asked. Last winter we were able to give away hundreds of coats and warm items thanks to your kindness.

Today, Purple Mind Community Service proudly delivered a vibrant and , graciously hosted by Guru Ravidass Bhawan Birmingham

I'm grateful to Surinder Kaur JI for the great support and taking responsibility for the event.

We are thankful to The National Lottery Community Fund and SCVO for supporting us to organise these cultural events to boost mental and emotional wellbeing.

Our wonderful practiced from last one month and joined in the rhythm and colours of and — dancing not just for fun, but to boost mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. 🌿💖

The energy in the room was truly contagious — filled with happiness, connection, and motivation. Together, we celebrated the power of movement, music, and mindfulness in nurturing a joyful spirit. ✨
