HELP THE HOMELESS

The lovely Julie called into collect donations for St Anne’s Hostel in Erdington and Aston Hotel in Witton for the homeless.
With over 40 parcels being donated here at Royal Town, this will surely help the needy over this cold period of the year.

Last few days to drop off a small gift to Help the Homeless.
IT REALLY DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Maria, Vivian, Julia & Tony, John Thwart, Amanda, Pam Jones, Hedda, Stella & Lee and others have all donated a gift for Help the Homeless.

JUST THIS WEEK TO GET ANY DONATIONS TO US

Hello everyone!
CAN YOU HELP
We have teamed up with Julie & the Aston Hotel in Witton which is a shelter for homeless men.

The generous residents of Sutton Coldfield and the surrounding areas have helped with their fabulous donations, and last year was able to donate to St Anne's Hostel in Highgate, and support houses in Erdington.

CAN YOU PUT A SMILE ON A FACE?
A shoe box filled with a few essentials is exactly what is needed. Shower gel, body spray, antiperspirant, lip salve, hand cream, toothpaste and toothbrush, nail clippers, nail file, sponge, cotton buds, tissues, disposable razors, hat, gloves, socks (8-12), boxershorts (M), pen, small pad of paper, pack of playing cards, but MOST IMPORTANTLY CHOCOLATE AND A HAND WRITTEN CARD!
Chocolate is at the bottom of their priority list in life and as most of you know, a hand written card makes such a difference. Kind words of encouragement and support go a long way and please sign each card, eg. from Paul and Judith, from Sam, Alice, Joe and Polly, but no addresses please.
If you have children ask them to draw a picture and send a message.
I am often asked "why did Sarah and Alex write to me?" Simple answer...Because they care.
A big thank you to all that donated last year and for your continued support including the Easter Egg donation. I am humbled by your generosity and could not do this without your help. Never underestimate the impact these gifts and cards have on the homeless lads/men in our community. If you can support this. I will need the donations by Thursday 19th December 2024 to deliver to The Aston Hotel the following week.

A service held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Pudsey and then on to Pudsey Cemetery.

We aim to give families everything they need to make their final preparations run smoothly. If it’s distance, coffin choice, transport, we can help.

Last week, we had the honour of taking a gentleman on his final journey to Waseley Hills Crematorium.

With Permission of the family.

A keepsake of being filmed paged into the crematorium by Rhys (Bagpiper) and pictures of the dove release were requested.
