Goodbye from Inclusive Sports, CEO Andy:
After 10 years of running Inclusive Sports Academy CIC, I have decided it is now the right time to step down as CEO and pursue opportunities and ventures elsewhere. I am delighted that Ordinary Magic have decided to take on the Inclusive Sports programme and wish Adam, Katie and their team all the success with this. Thank you to all our families, children & young people, staff & volunteers and funders who have supported us over the years.
I am extremely proud of the growth and development of Inclusive Sports over this period. I feel honoured to have led the organisation, it has been a privilege and a wonderful experience.
In setting up the company as a 1 man band with a few ideas in 2015 I could never have dreamt that it could have grown to the level it has today and I have loved the journey. As an organisation, we now have 9 full time/part time staff members, 40 + sessional staff and provide a year round activity programme. It fills me with an enormous sense of pride that on a regular week, we deliver 5 term time projects for 80 children & Young People, 250 hours a week on our PA service along with 30 HAF sessions per year and 24 Transitions outings a year.
Together, we have made a positive difference to the lives of so many vulnerable children & young people in Solihull and I truly wish Inclusive Sports all the best with the continuation of the services offered.
Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the best with your future.
Adam Irvine, CEO of Ordinary Magic, says:
“The service of Inclusive Sports over the years has been exemplary, gaining an incredible reputation around the borough for its knowledge, experience and attention to detail for providing the best possible provisions for users.
This change, is change by name only – Ordinary Magic will continue to uphold the brilliant service that all users have been used to.
We are incredibly excited to welcome you all into our team and look forward to growing and supporting as many people as possible.”
Kat O’Donovan will still be running this service – if you have any further questions about the transfer, then please message Kat: kat.odonovan@ordinarymagic.co.uk
Best wishes,
Andy Warmington
