What a truly special day celebrating our Jenna and her baby boy 💙✨
Today we surprised Jenna with a baby shower filled with so much love, laughter, and joy — and what made it even more magical was having our residents involved every step of the way.

From playing baby shower games together to sharing smiles, stories, and excitement, it was a reminder of just how powerful community and togetherness can be. Seeing our residents light up as they joined in, offered advice, and celebrated this precious new life was incredibly heartwarming.

Jenna, you are already such a caring, kind, and loving soul, and there is no doubt that you are going to be an amazing mum to your little boy. He is already so loved — not just by you and your family, but by all of us here too 💙

Today we are filled with joy, warmth and festive cheer as we celebrate Christmas together at Edgbaston Manor. Our home has been full of smiles, laughter, music and special moments shared with our wonderful residents and dedicated staff.

Christmas is a time for togetherness, kindness and reflection, and we feel so grateful to create a happy, loving environment for our residents today and always. A huge thank you to our incredible team who are working hard this Christmas Day to make it extra special, and to the families who continue to support us.

✨🎶 A Very Special Visit Filled With Music & Christmas Cheer 🎶✨

Today we were absolutely delighted to welcome Harper Bell SDA Primary School into our home for a truly heart-warming morning of festive carol singing. The children filled the building with beautiful voices, smiles, and infectious Christmas spirit, creating such a magical atmosphere for our residents.

It wasn’t just about the singing — the interaction between the pupils and our residents was incredibly special. From holding hands and sharing laughs to chatting about favourite Christmas traditions, these moments meant the world to everyone involved. You could see the joy on our residents’ faces as the children took the time to connect, spreading warmth, kindness, and festive cheer throughout the home.

A huge thank you to Head Teacher Michael Baker and the wonderful staff at Harper Bell School for supporting such a meaningful visit and for encouraging the children to give back to the community. Experiences like this truly highlight the importance of intergenerational connections and the positive impact they have on wellbeing.

Today was all about slowing down, feeling special, and enjoying a little self-care 💖 Our residents were treated to a lovely pampering session filled with nail care, beautifying, and one-to-one attention.

From choosing colours to gentle hand massages, it was more than just having our nails done — it was about connection, confidence, and feeling truly cared for. Moments like these bring so many smiles, spark conversation, and give residents the chance to relax and feel proud of themselves ✨

At Edgbaston Manor, we believe self-care has no age limit. It’s these meaningful, personal experiences that make everyday life brighter and remind us that feeling good on the outside can lift the spirit too 💕

✨ Christmas Fair at Edgbaston Manor ✨
Today our home was filled with festive cheer as we welcomed independent stall holders selling beautiful candles, soaps, trinkets and more. 🎄🕯️🛍️

Residents, staff, and members of our local community all joined in the fun — supporting small businesses this Christmas and enjoying a lovely afternoon together.

Our amazing kitchen team also treated everyone to freshly baked mince pies and warm mulled wine, adding the perfect festive touch! 🥧🍷✨

A huge thank-you to our wonderful stall holders, who made a donation to the The Salvation Army United Kingdom ♥️

What a perfect way to start the festive season! 🎅🏼✨
