Hurricane Melissa has deeply affected Jamaica, leaving many families heartbroken and communities devastated, including some of our Aquarius colleagues with loved ones on the island.

At Aquarius, we believe in standing together through times of hardship. That’s why we’re raising funds to support those impacted by the hurricane 💛💚🖤

All donations will go towards:
1. Purchasing essential supplies for schools and those in need
2. Funding barrels that will be sent directly to St. Elizabeth, one of the areas most affected

Every contribution, no matter the size, will help make a real difference.

In the spirit of Jamaica’s national motto, “Out of Many, One People,” let’s come together to support and uplift those who need it most.

Today Roberta delivered her first cooking session at Aquarius Homes, teaching residents how to make a simple, tasty meal they can recreate on their own.

On the menu: peppers, mushrooms, spinach, rice, and seared chicken. All cooked up with garlic, chilli, and olive oil 😍 A delicious combo that went down a treat!

Roberta will be running cooking sessions across both of our properties, helping residents build confidence in the kitchen and learn how to prepare quick, healthy meals they can share with friends, housemates, and family 💙✨

Halloween's tomorrow! Don't ruin your fun, stay hydrated 🎃

If you’re drinking this Halloween, try to alternate alcoholic drinks with water or soft drinks - it helps you stay in control and reduces the chance of a rough morning after.

Quick tips to remember:
1. Sip slowly and take breaks between drinks.
2. Try to have a glass of water every other drink.
3. Eat before you go out, a good meal helps your body process alcohol.
4. stick with your friends, look out for each other and make sure everyone gets home safely.

BIG NEWS! North Northamptonshire Council has invested £5 million to deliver high-quality, recovery-focused drug and alcohol support services across the area.

From April 2026, Aquarius will continue to provide drug and alcohol support to children, young people, and young adults in the North Northamptonshire locality.

Together we’ll provide local, tailored and compassionate care, helping more residents access the right support at the right time.

This investment marks a bold step towards a whole-system, integrated approach to recovery, where connection, community, and lived experience shape every step.

We’re proud to be part of this next chapter, working alongside the council and our partners to ensure everyone has the opportunity to thrive 💙✨
