Proud to share that Dr Parveen Azam Ali has been appointed as a Professor in Nursing at the University of Sheffield and Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS FT.

Professor Parveen Ali is the first British Pakistani Professor of Nursing in the UK.
She started her journey at Ayaz Samoon Nursing Training Institute, Lyari Karachi. She completed her BSc and Masters in Nursing from Aga Khan University Karachi and PhD from University of Sheffield, UK.

She is the first ever British Pakistani or even South Asian to become a professor of Nursing in the UK.

Many congratulations to her and we wish her all the best and more success in future.
