Cure Leukaemia

Cure Leukaemia Cure Leukaemia funds research nurses at UK blood cancer centres, giving patients access to treatments through clinical trials.

This support drives global significant advancements in blood cancer, impacting those affected by the disease. Cure Leukaemia funds the national Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) which delivers and gives patients access to globally significant and potentially life-saving blood cancer clinical trials. Cure Leukaemia funds specialist research nurses in 12 UK Hospitals and a facilitatory Hub based in Birmingham to accelerate setup, patients recruitment and delivery of pioneering blood cancer clinical trials. Through TAP trials can be setup in as little as 6 months compared to the standard timescale of up to 2 years. With more supporters, we will fund more nurses, we will run more clinical trials, we will save more lives, we will find a cure.

Last night we were proud to be the charity partner of the is manchester 2025. On the night, Jo Hawkridge captivated the room, telling her son Jude's story, who's life was saved by a clinical trial after he was diagnosed with blood cancer, and spoke passionately about their support for Cure Leukaemia through running the Great North Run and supporting our Big Give Christmas Challenge next month.

Congratulations to all the winners last night, including Hamish Graham who won the One to Watch / Fundraiser of the Year Award - Supported By Cure Leukaemia ๐Ÿ‘

Double your donation this Christmas! ๐ŸŽ„

We're thrilled to announce we're part of Big Give Christmas Challenge from Dec 2nd - 9th!

For one incredible week, every donation made to Cure Leukaemia through the Big Give Christmas Challenge will be doubled, meaning you can have twice the impact in the fight against childhood blood cancer this Christmas.

โ€œWhile Jude was going through treatment, he had to spend Christmas in isolation and away from his family. We encourage everyone to support the Christmas Challenge and together we can make double the difference for children like Jude this Christmas.โ€

Please mark your calendars. Every doubled donation brings us closer to a cure.

"There are new drugs that are available and we'd like to do a national study of that within the UK. If we have the ATICUS Network up and running today, we'd be able to deliver that study."

Last night at our Up Close and Personal event in London, Professor Persis Amrolia of Great Ormond Street Hospital explained the importance of the ATICUS Network and how it will change the way children with blood cancer are treated.

Thank you to our friends at Montague on the Gardens Hotel and Jonathan Raggett for hosting the event, and to all those who attended and spoke powerfully about your support for Cure Leukaemia and our collective mission!

If you'd like to know more about how you and your business can play your part in this world first, globally impacting network, we'd love to hear from you!
