Top tips to help combat loneliness for older people. 🧡

Today is World Mental Health Day, a reminder that looking after our mental wellbeing is just as important as caring for our physical health.

We made some beautiful fairy cake. One of the residents was telling me how they use to make cakes for every child on there street just because it made her feel happy and the children loved it who don’t like cake 🎂

We love keeping fit. We have our lovely fitness team come to see us every other Thursday at 11am and I have got to say it’s so wonderful to see our residents taking part 💪🏻

Our resident asked if I could take him out to get chocolate today some for him and some for his wife. Who would say no to chocolate haha. Our lovely gentleman had a great morning shopping next time they said we are going to McDonald’s for some dinner

Residents Kath enjoyed a meal with her family and friends yesterday. This is something they all use to do before Kath came to us and we really encourage her to keep it up with everyone help she gets to do this to see the smile on everyone’s face it makes it all worth it.
