The residents of Leighton Rose were recently joined for the evening by some of the team from Leighton Town Football Club ⚽️

The club’s Chairman, Head of Football, Manager, Captain and two players were amongst the group that came to visit.

The residents enjoyed meeting everyone and have been invited to watch a home game when the weather warms up.

Earlier this month, Watermead Rose invited the local community to come along for a Winter Warmer 🍲

The Watermead Rose chef, Chris, and his team served some freshly made soup and ciabatta bread. Everyone also enjoyed a cup of team and fresh out of the oven blueberry muffins ☕

🎄✨ MACC Cares Christmas Competition 2025 ✨🎄

This year’s MACC Cares Christmas Competition was held at Blossomfield Rose and judged by a wonderful panel of special guests: Dr Neil Shastri-Hurst MP (Solihull), Annette Mackenzie, Mayor of Solihull, Tom and Cordelle from The Dementia Friendly Barber, Belisa Dushku, and our resident ambassador Margaret.

The theme for 2025 was Winter Wonderland, with each home creating a Christmas card, tree, and cake to enter the competition. Our homes also produced a festive Christmas wish video for a special additional entry.

A huge well done to all our homes for their creativity, dedication, and hard work. Special congratulations go to:

🎉 Church Rose – Overall Winner for Best Cake
