We had a wonderful evening celebrating the people who make a real difference at The ExtraCare Charitable Trust. 🍾

We were honoured to attend the ExtraCare Staff Awards as one of the event sponsors, recognising the incredible individuals across the organisation who go above and beyond every day.

A special moment for us was seeing our founding Partner, Steve Eldred, take to the stage to present one of the awards - a privilege to be part of such a meaningful occasion.

Events like this are a powerful reminder that behind every organisation are the people who drive it forward. It was inspiring to hear the stories, celebrate the achievements, and share the evening with the ExtraCare team.

As we mark 40 years in business, we’re celebrating the people who’ve been at the heart of our journey – our wonderful clients!

We’re incredibly proud of our story, a huge part of which belongs to those clients who’ve been with us along the way - some from years past, some still with us today, and many who’ve become good friends.

We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Geoffrey Holroyde, former Director of Coventry Polytechnic, and wanted to share our gratitude for the profound impact he had on our lives and business.

When we founded Switch in 1985, straight after graduating, Geoffrey was incredibly supportive of our fledgling venture. He introduced us to a very brave bank manager at the earliest opportunity and generously promoted us through his extensive network, helping us secure work that sustained and shaped our business for many years. Even in retirement, he continued to take a genuine interest in our progress.

Geoffrey’s encouragement, belief in us, and practical support made a lasting difference at a time when it mattered most. We remain deeply thankful for his kindness and advocacy.
