We work collaboratively with individuals, families and service commissioners to support people to live within the community, either in a transitional residential service or a supported living service. Midway Care Group's aim is to provide specialised residential and transitional services to individuals with learning disabilities and associated needs in an environment where rights, independence and choice are the focus of that service.

🎶❤️ Valentine’s Disco Fun! ❤️🎶

The guys from Castle Road - Lyndon, Trevor, Scott and Nung - had a brilliant time today at the DJ Marks Valentine’s Disco hosted by Dudley Voices for Choice!

They were joined by Hamza from Brewers Meadow and it’s safe to say there were plenty of smiles, laughter and a few competitive moments around the pool table 🎱

It was great to see everyone getting involved, enjoying the music and spending time together in the community. Events like this are what it’s all about… building friendships, confidence and having fun.

A big thank you to Dudley Voices for Choice for organising such a fantastic event 💃🕺

🐑🌿 A Great Day Out for Hamza! 🌿🐑

Hamza from Brewers Meadow had a brilliant day out with his staff at Forge Mill Farm in Sandwell.

He really enjoyed seeing the animals, especially the sheep in the barn. 🐑 It was great to see how engaged he was throughout the visit, taking everything in - giving us a big thumbs up! 👍

After exploring the farm, Hamza enjoyed a walk across the bridge to watch the cars on the motorway, something he really enjoys.

To finish the day, he stopped off at Chaiiwala in Star City for a well-earned treat ☕✨

🐶💙 Tim and Bear 💙🐶

In 2025 Tim achieved something that really mattered to him - becoming a dog owner 🐾

With support from his team at Midway, Tim attended an interview with Inclusion Housing to show he could care for a dog, talking through routines and even walking a service dog to demonstrate what day to day care would look like. His support workers worked closely with Tim’s sister to support him to choose the right puppy.

Bear soon came home and since then Tim has settled into a new routine with confidence. He helps feed and bathe Bear, takes him to the groomers, manages his injections and brings him along on trips to the market for breakfast and visits with family.

His team said “It’s been lovely to see the confidence, routine and happiness this has brought to Tim” – a brilliant example of how the right support can help people achieve goals that truly matter to them 💚🐾

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported Team Midway during our charity walk at Cannon Hill Park in aid of Birmingham Mind.

Thanks to your kindness and generosity, we raised an amazing £1,145 👏 This fantastic total will help Birmingham Mind continue providing vital mental health support across Birmingham and Solihull.

It was a brilliant day bringing colleagues together for such an important cause and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, shared our page, or cheered us on along the way.

Everyone at Castle Road Supported Living had a spook-tacular time celebrating Halloween last week - joined by their friends from Brewers Meadow!

There were some amazing costumes, lots of laughing and plenty of treats (a few tricks too!).
