𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞? 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞.

If you’re worried about a loved one but don’t know where to begin, you’re not alone.
Most families don’t realise home care is needed until life becomes overwhelming.

Start with three simple questions:

1️⃣ Is my loved one still safe at home?
2️⃣ Are their daily needs being met?
3️⃣ Are they becoming lonely or withdrawn?

If you’re unsure, it may be time to explore home care.
PBL Care offers guidance, clarity and compassionate support from day one.

Small Traditions, Big Impact 🎁✨

Christmas is a powerful time for connection, especially when the celebrations reflect who our residents truly are.

At PBL Care, we’re taking the time to listen to residents and families about the festive traditions that matter most:
🎶 A carol they’ve sung since childhood
🍊 A scent that reminds them of home
🕯 A faith tradition that brings comfort
🍽 A recipe passed through generations
🌟 A small ritual they never miss

Whether it’s serving a favourite pudding, creating a personal playlist, displaying family ornaments or giving someone a meaningful role at the table. These moments support wellbeing, reduce anxiety and bring joy into the home.

For us, person-centred care means celebrating each resident’s story… one tradition at a time.

Across the UK, more people than ever are choosing home care as their preferred form of support. Families want their loved ones to stay in familiar surroundings, maintain independence and enjoy a better quality of life, and home care makes that possible.

But with this shift comes increased pressure on the sector. Demand is rising, waiting lists are growing, and providers are working hard to ensure consistent, high-quality support for every individual.

At PBL Care, we’re committed to meeting this challenge with compassion, professionalism and forward-thinking care.

Here’s how we’re supporting families during this period of change:

🏡 Flexible, person-centred support designed around each individual’s needs
👥 Investing in our team through training, wellbeing and retention
💬 Open communication, so families always feel informed and reassured
💛 Consistent, reliable care delivered by people who genuinely care
✨ A holistic approach, focusing on wellbeing, dignity and independence

As demand continues to grow, our promise remains the same: to deliver safe, trusted, high-quality home care that helps every person live well, with dignity, in the place they call home.

Keeping Christmas Traditions Alive at PBL Care 🎄❤️

At PBL Care, Christmas isn’t a one-size-fits-all celebration; it’s a season filled with personal memories, cherished rituals and meaningful traditions that tell each resident’s story.

This year, we’re honouring those stories by weaving residents’ own festive traditions into our celebrations. From favourite family recipes and childhood carols to treasured ornaments and cultural customs, these moments help residents feel seen, valued and connected.

Familiar smells, songs and rituals can unlock memories, especially for those living with dementia sparking smiles, conversation and a deep sense of belonging. And when families see their loved ones’ traditions embraced, it strengthens relationships and brings our whole community closer.

At PBL Care, celebrating Christmas means celebrating identity.

✨ Here’s to keeping traditions alive, together. ✨

PBL Care is powered by people like Ashu, a Night Health Care Assistant who brings compassion and calm to our residents when they need it most.

Her journey into care began after supporting her mother-in-law through a life-changing illness. She now uses that experience to provide meaningful, person-centred support every night.

Grateful to have her on our team.

💬 Talking Saves Lives 💬
This Movember, we’re shining a light on men’s mental health and wellbeing.

Many men find it hard to open up, but at PBL Care, we know a simple chat over tea, a walk in the garden, or sharing memories can make all the difference.

Let’s remind the men in our lives that it’s okay to talk, and it’s okay to ask for help 💙

Today we remember.

This Armistice Day, we reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and service of all who stood for peace. Their legacy reminds us of the value of unity, gratitude, and hope for a better tomorrow.

Lest we forget. 🌺

👨‍🦱 Movember! 👨‍🦰

This month at PBL Care, we’re joining the global movement to raise awareness for men’s health from mental wellbeing to prostate and testicular cancer.

We’ll be celebrating the incredible men in our home, our team, and our community, sharing stories, smiles, and maybe even a few moustaches along the way! 😄

Supporting men’s health isn’t just about growing a mo, it’s about starting conversations, checking in, and looking after one another. 💬💙

Let’s make this month a reminder to care, connect, and keep talking.

Healthy ageing isn’t just a goal, it’s a movement. And home care is right at the heart of it. By offering personalised, flexible support, home care empowers people to stay where they feel most comfortable: home.

It preserves autonomy, strengthens community ties, and provides the reassurance families need.

At PBL Care, we see every day how the right care plan can make all the difference, helping people live not only longer, but better.

💚 Supporting independence, dignity, and peace of mind.
