It was an honor to host , CEO of (Association of R**e Crisis Centers in Israel, the umbrella organization for nine r**e crisis centers across the country).

Since October 7, Orit and her organization have led the first professional, ethical, and systematic documentation of sexual violence committed during the October 7 attacks. This work was carried out under immense responsibility, global scrutiny, and widespread denial.

During the webinar, Orit explained how this documentation was built with great care, relying only on corroborated information from multiple credible sources, and why accuracy is critical. Even one error can be used to undermine survivors and erase the truth.

She also addressed the ongoing impact on Israeli society, including the retraumatization of survivors, a rise in crisis hotline calls, and a severe strain on the mental health system following the war.

This was a painful conversation.
It was also a necessary one.

Giving voice to truth matters.
Listening matters.
Carrying this knowledge forward matters.
