Above everything else, therapy is about the client-counsellor relationship. When I receive messages from my clients saying that they have felt heard, understood, they have appreciated some of the questions I've asked, reflected on some of the conversations in therapy, used some of the strategies provided, and for some, they have just enjoyed the space that therapy provides..to me, that's all that matters. It's not about me, it's about the client experience. It's about the effectiveness of the therapeutic interventions and putting the client at the centre of it all.

I have secured a new contract which means that I’ll now be unavailable on Mondays. Therefore, my weekly livestreams will be on Tuesdays until the end of the year 💕

Two days to go until the end of my 5k a Day For CALM. I will be completely honest, if I knew how hard it was going to be, I might not have signed up. Throughout it all, I’ve focused on WHY I’m doing this. It’s not about me, it’s not about my knees hurting, my feet looking terrible, getting wet, feeling cold, not having time.

It’s about my late sister. It’s about all of the people who will try to end their lives today and tomorrow and the next day. It’s about the work this wonderful charity does.

When I finish on 31st October, I would have walked approximately 97 miles or more.

There’s still time to donate. I hope to reach my reasonable target for CALM of £200 and there’s just £38 left.
