Marian Hanson is a qualified Counsellor who provides a quality counselling service specialising in couples counselling, individuals with stress and individuals with depression. The aim is to assess the needs of each client and assist them in finding solutions to their issues in a non-judgemental, person-centred and confidential way.

There are different types of therapy and everyone has to decide what feels right for them. For some, long-term, weekly therapy is what they want and need, for others, the decision is between face-to-face and online therapy, and for others, time-limited, short-term therapy is what works best.

Advantages of time-limited therapy are
* Cost-effective
* Therapy goal is clearer and the work is more focused. This can often lead to better outcomes
* Client feels more in control as they know from the outset how long the therapy will be for and there isn't always the expectation to commit to weekly sessions.
