I stopped fighting my winter.
For months, my body has asked for less.
Less noise.
Less output.
Less striving.
More rest.
More quiet.
More turning inward.
At first, I questioned it.
Is something wrong with me?
Why am I so tired?
But winter is not a flaw.
It’s a season.
The nervous system slows.
The body conserves.
Something unseen recalibrates beneath the surface.
And now, as the light stretches a little longer each day,
I can feel a gentle shift.
A soft stirring.
An outward rhythm returning.
Nothing forced.
Nothing rushed.
Just nature, doing what nature does.
If you’ve been tired, withdrawn, quieter than usual…
maybe you weren’t falling behind.
Maybe you were honouring your winter.
We are cyclical.
We are seasonal.
What feels ready to bloom for you?
