Active Birth Yoga will increase your confidence in your body's ability to give birth. The classes will encourage your naturally increased flexibility during pregnancy, helping you to stay fit and active throughout your pregnancy, while strengthening your pelvic floor muscles. This is a great opportunity to meet other 'Mums' going through similar experiences, and have a chat over some fruit tea, with organic fruit and biscuits. And there's time for a shoulder massage and relaxation too. Within the yoga classes, we talk a lot about birth preparation, and how to encourage your baby into an optimal foetal position, which will help to make your birth quicker, easier and more effective. There are also Active Birth Partners Evenings once a month, so your birth partner knows how to support you through the later stages of your pregnancy and during the birth of your baby. There is also a Postnatal Class to help you regain control over your stomach, and pelvic floor muscles, easing out some of the stresses and strains of early motherhood, and time for some relaxation too. There's also plenty of time to socialise with the other mums and babies.
