Max lowered the flag to half-mast this morning at 11am as members of the Mortons team gathered in honour of Armistice Day. We paused for a two-minute silence, and acknowledged the sacrifices and dedication of our Armed Forces, past and present. Lest We Forget!

Sarah and Simon were honoured to attend the Rubery Memorial Club and Rubery & Rednal Royal British Legion Parade and Service at St Chad's Rubery Church to lay a wreath from all of us here at Morton’s.

As Funeral Directors, we are privileged to hear stories that are shared with us by the families we serve. Recently, the family of the late Jane Lloyd, shared with us that shortly after her passing, they spotted a beautiful rainbow in the sky! At the families request, a rainbow theme was incorporated through Jane’s Service in the flowers that they chose, ‘Somewhere over the rainbow’ being played at an appropriate point in the Chapel and even on personalised t-shirts worn in memory of Jane by her loved ones 🌈
