Join Krissi & Drew for a soul-nourishing evening as we soften into deep rest. Accompanied by the meditative tones of live Handpan, we’ll explore the introspective stillness of Yin Yoga postures, supported by gentle embodied movement & relaxing breathwork whilst journeying with the heart-opening energies of ceremonial Cacao.

The session will start together in ceremony, as we drink and connect with ceremonial Cacao - a sacred plant medicine that has been used in ceremony for thousands of years by Indigenous cultures to support spiritual connection, and connecting with the energy of the heart space. We will then transition into some gentle breathwork to drop into the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting a deep sense of grounding and calm. 💕

Whilst being bathed in the soothing sounds of the Handpan, will settle into a series of deep, releasing yin postures, allowing the body to soften, the mind to quieten & our spirit to fully surrender into deep rest. 🧘‍♀️

Yin yoga is a deeply meditative practice that invites us to delve deep into our inner world. This grounding session explores stillness and motion, stimulating energy flow & restoring the nervous system, allowing tension to ease and stress to melt away. By holding floor-based poses for minutes at a time, we’ll be increasing flexibility through lengthening the body, whilst enhancing the range of motion in the joints and ligaments.

We will finish by resting into a relaxing somatic meditation, connecting with breath and observing the shifts of energy in the body. This is an opportunity for deep relaxation, rest & integration.

This event falls in the energy of the new moon, so the energy will be particularly powerful to set intentions and reflect on what you want to manifest for this coming cycle. 🌑

- Date: Friday 21th November from 6.30pm - 8.30pm

11/11 is a powerful portal to align with our highest self, manifesting our dreams into reality ✨️

Take time for an intention-setting ritual and meditation. As you focus on what you want to call in, remember that the universe is listening. Trust that with clear intentions and the energy of the 11/11 portal, you are aligning with the highest version of yourself 🌸

11•11 Ritual:

1. Sit at your altar or sacred space, cleanse the space by smudging & light a candle 🕯

2. Sit in meditation & visualise what you are calling in 🧘🏼‍♀️

3. Write it down on a piece of paper & ask the universe to guide you towards your manifestations 📃

4. Fold the paper up and bury it in your garden or somewhere in nature 🌱

5. Look out for signs over the coming weeks & months from the universe and your guides 🌌

✨ What is Ceremonial Cacao? ✨

Ceremonial Cacao is 100% pure organic cacao-bean with zero additives. Cacao has been used in ceremony for thousands of years by Aztec, Maya, Olmec, Toltec, and Zapotec indigenous communities to support spiritual connection. It is a beautiful heart-opening medicine, releasing emotional blockages and aiding emotional healing. It’s a great way to introduce ritual and ceremony into our lives, helping us feel connected to ourselves, nature and the Universe / Divine / Source / God.

🍫 What is the difference between ceremonial cacao and chocolate? 🍫

The difference between regular cacao & chocolate compared with ceremonial grade cacao is the way it’s been processed and prepared. For ceremonial cacao, the processing is kept as minimal and pure as possible. Freshly harvested beans are fermented and then dried (never roasted) in order to keep its natural structure & beneficial properties.

The fact that is 100% pure means that contains a much higher quantity of beneficial, health-restoring, and mood-elevating compounds than any other cacao-based products that have been overly processed. These products often contain may additives that not only take away the natural benefits of this beautiful food, but can also cause our bodies harm such as white sugar, sweetners, high fructose corn syrup, soy lecithin & caarrageenan.

Cacao has SO many incredible energetic and physical benefits - which I'll go into in more detail on a different post as the list is looong! So for now, here's a list of some nutrients & compounds this incredible plant medicine has to offer; Iron , Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc, Potassium, Fibre, Protein, Selenium, Tryptophan, Flavonoids, Copper & Manganese.

If you're interested in joining me & in a cacao ceremony this Friday eve in Biemingham, DM or comment "CACAO JOURNEY" in the comments below and I'll send you a link with details💗

Hello my loves, It’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself on here so thought I’d share a little bit about me with you all.

I’m Krissi - I'm a multi-passionate creatress who is deeply in love with life. I believe that slow living, creative play, nourishing movement and self-love are the secrets to pleasure-filled & joyful living.

I believe that connection is everything - to ourselves, to others & the universe. I had a spiritual awakening in my teens and have since been on a journey of exploration, healing, and self-discovery.

I’m deeply passionate about supporting women on their journies of healing and self-connection, holding space and helping to guide others into experiencing their most authentic & highest selves through ceremony, embodied connection & yoga. ✨️

These practices deeply support us to connect with our soul & tune into our inner feminine wisdom, leading us towards living in alignment with who we truly are & awakening our full potential. 🌹

Check out my website for my current offerings (link in bio) ❤️ I’m excited to be expanding these offerings in the new year ~ holding more workshops & events to share & connect with others in this beautiful way.

Thank you so much for reading, my loves. Send me a massage if you’d like to connect ✨

With love,
Krissi x

How often in your day do you take time to pause?

Taking some time for ourselves in our day away from our busy to-do lists is so important ~ especially those days when we feel we don’t have enough time. Those days in particular are when we need to take pause the most.

Giving ourselves permission to put our responsibilities, worries & to-do lists aside for a few moments and taking time to create space in our minds is vital for a regulated & healthy nervous system. 💫

When we allow ourselves this time to pause and be, we show up for ourselves and others with more clarity, calm and ease. 💗

Some of my favourite ways to take pause in my day:
✦ Going for a walk in nature or taking a break in the garden - bare feet on the grass for grounding!
✦ Putting on some music & allowing my body to move intuitively through dance
✦ Stretches or gentle yoga poses my body is calling for
✦ Sitting or lying quietly in meditation, bringing awareness to physical sensations & emotions I’m currently experiencing without stories or judgement
✦ Connecting with my breath, tuning into the natural rhythm of the breath cycle
✦ Brewing a pot of herbal tea and drinking it slowly & mindfully

What are some of your favourite ways to take pause in your day?
