“I make it a priority to show my teams that their voices matter, that their feedback shapes real action.”

For Matron Faith Duffy, making sure staff feel heard is at the heart of her role. That’s why the staff survey is so important to her, it’s not just a form, but a chance for to listen, learn and lead change together.

Faith loves the freedom to make improvements, and says that autonomy, along with the incredible teams she works with, keeps her motivated every day.

Faith shares how it’s been quite the journey from nursery nurse to Matron and how UHB has provided opportunities she never dreamed of, but it’s the people, the passion, and the shared purpose that make it feel like home.
