Do you know anyone suffering from Crohn's Disease?

This disease increases the risk of osteoporosis and/or muscle weakness? 'Impact and resistance training,' a specific type of exercise has been found to improve bone and muscle health.

There are lots of classes online now so it's easier than ever to access. Chat to the instructor first to ensure they understand Crohn's or you might like to find a qualified personal trainer who is used to working with health conditions.

Crohn’s causes inflammation of the gut, this reduces absorption of nutrients and in some cases malnutrition.

Research from Northumbria University, Newcastle, has shown the important role specific types of exercise can play in the management of bone loss, fatigue and muscle dysfunction for those with Crohn’s disease.

You might like to try one of Claudia's classes if you are into ballet or dance. A different way to strengthen!
