Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
There are links between our thoughts, feelings and behaviours. When we feel low or anxious, our thoughts and behaviours can change, often that only makes us feel worse.
This can trap us in a vicious cycle.

CBT therefore aims to change damaging thoughts and behaviours to break this cycle.

🗣️This week is Anti-Bullying Week ❤️‍🩹

Bullying can have many faces
• Physical Bullying
• Verbal Bullying
• Social Bullying
• Electronic or Cyberbullying
• Racial Bullying
• Religious Bullying
• Sexual Bullying
• Disability Bullying

But not every conflict is bullying. How to tell the difference between being bullied or not? This definition from Anti-Bullying Alliance can help you distinguish:
“The repetitive, intentional hurting of one person or group by another person or group, where the relationship involves an imbalance of power.”

It is November and that means it is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental health is something we all have, no matter our gender, race, religion, nationality, etc. And just like any other aspect of us our mind can be less healthy or healthier.
Men often suffer in silence out of fear to be judged as “weak” or “unmanly”.

An example: Issues such as postpartum depression are rarely associated with men, even though studies show that men suffer from it the same amount women do (1 in 10).

❤️‍🩹Couples Counselling
Couples therapy is specifically designed for couples where one or both partners are experiencing depression. The approach focuses on the relationship as a key factor in improving mood and wellbeing. It helps couples understand how their interactions affect each other’s emotions, improve communication, rebuild emotional connection, and develop more supportive ways of coping together. 🫶
