💗 Think Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness! 💗

On Friday, our wonderful staff and residents dressed in pink to show support and raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness. Through the sale of our goody bags, we’re proud to share that we raised £47! 🎀

We’d also like to give a special shoutout to our Customer Relations Executive, Ronni, who has taken on the incredible challenge of walking 100 miles in October — and has already raised an amazing £350 in her own time for breast cancer awareness! 👏

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated, and helped make the day so special. Your kindness and generosity truly make a difference.

We’re absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity we’ve seen so far! Thank you to everyone who’s already donated — your kindness is helping to spread warmth and dignity across Birmingham this winter. 🫶

Our Love Brum donation table is set up in reception, and we’re still welcoming any and all donations for the following:

🧣 Winter Warmer Bag (£10–£25)
Help someone stay warm and cared for this winter with items such as:

Shampoo & conditioner
Liquid soap
Roll-on deodorant
Feminine hygiene products
Wet wipes
Toothbrush & toothpaste
Comb / hairbrush

Sleeping bag
Small gift (e.g. supermarket or food voucher)

🙏 Church Services Return to Abbey Rose 🙏

We’re absolutely thrilled to have our church services back up and running here at Abbey Rose now that Reverend Ann has settled into her new parish. 🌸

Our residents turned out in great numbers for her first service with us — it was a lovely afternoon filled with warmth, reflection, and community.

A big thank you to Reverend Ann for leading such a beautiful service — we’re so grateful to have you with us! ❤️
