🌹 Remembrance Service at Abbey Rose 🌹

This morning our residents and staff came together to honour those who gave so much for our freedom. We were joined by the vicar of All Saints Church, who kindly led a heartfelt Remembrance service.

Everyone observed the two-minute silence with deep respect and reflection — a truly moving moment shared across our home.

We will remember them. ❤️

🌺 Yesterday we joined together to mark Remembrance Day. 🌺

Our staff and residents proudly observed the two-minute silence in honour of the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our freedom.

Throughout the week, residents have been busy creating beautiful poppies and banners to show their respect and remembrance. It’s been a time of reflection, creativity, and shared memories.

We will remember them. ❤️🌺

🌍✨ Cultural Celebration Evening! ✨🌍

Last week, we came together with our amazing staff, residents, and families for a truly special cultural evening! 💃🕺

Our wonderful team cooked and shared delicious traditional dishes from their cultures — the aromas, colours, and flavours were absolutely incredible! 🍛🥟🍰 It was such a joy to see everyone dressed in beautiful traditional outfits, sharing stories, laughter, and pride in their heritage. 🎉

We also enjoyed music from around the world and danced the night away together — what a fantastic way to celebrate our diverse community! ❤️🌎

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the evening so memorable — it was a reminder of how food, music, and togetherness can bring people closer than ever. 🫶

💗 Think Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness! 💗

On Friday, our wonderful staff and residents dressed in pink to show support and raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness. Through the sale of our goody bags, we’re proud to share that we raised £47! 🎀

We’d also like to give a special shoutout to our Customer Relations Executive, Ronni, who has taken on the incredible challenge of walking 100 miles in October — and has already raised an amazing £350 in her own time for breast cancer awareness! 👏

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated, and helped make the day so special. Your kindness and generosity truly make a difference.
