COPD8 is an International Conference aimed at the breadth of the COPD spectrum from basic science through to clinical practise and what people living with the condition need and want. Providing high quality evidence based health care for the 21st century presents particular challenges wherever we are based in the world and in the UK there are many national policies and initiatives which will ensure that COPD is both recognised and embedded in the future. The conference provides:
• An accredited education and training conference in COPD
• A state of the art scientific conference in COPD
• Clearly identified tracks for scientists, clinicians, nurses, physiotherapists, clinical physiologists, and other health care professionals interested in COPD in both primary and secondary care settings
• An opportunity to present original research and to discuss findings with other international experts in the field
• The production of a conference specific publication
