This isn’t just a meet-up. It’s maintenance. 🛠️
Mandem Mondays is a monthly space for men to reset, reflect and realign — mentally, physically and spiritually.
Each session includes: • Grounded conversation (real talk, no masks)
• Breathwork to regulate the nervous system
• Movement to release stored tension
• Tools for emotional regulation and leadership
• Brotherhood accountability
Research shows that men are significantly less likely to seek mental health support, yet are at higher risk of stress-related illness and su***de. Spaces like this matter. Presence matters. Brotherhood matters.

Developmental trauma isn’t always about one big event. 🌱
It’s about what happened consistently in childhood
Or what didn’t happen that should have.
When a child grows up without enough safety, connection, or attunement
The nervous system adapts to survive.
Fight.
Flight.
Freeze.
Fawn.
Those adaptations once protected you.
But later in life, they can show up as anxiety, shutdown, people-pleasing, or constant stress.

Preconscious trauma is trauma stored in the body before we had language.
Before we could speak.
Before we could form memory.
Before we even understood what was happening.
It can begin in the womb.
In early infancy.
In moments where safety wasn’t fully there.
You may not remember it.
But your nervous system does.
It can show up as anxiety with no clear story.
Feeling unsafe even when life looks stable.
Struggling to trust.
Shutting down.
People pleasing.
Hyper independence.
This isn’t weakness.
It’s survival wiring.
When early stress happens without enough soothing or connection,
the body adapts through fight, flight, freeze, or fawn.
Healing preconscious trauma isn’t about thinking harder.
It’s about helping the nervous system experience safety again.

The body stays on high alert
Even when the danger has passed
