We were delighted to welcome Preet Kaur Gill MP to Practice Plus Group Hospital, Birmingham!🤝

The Labour and Co-operative MP for Birmingham toured our facilities to learn more about our NHS and private treatments, meet our dedicated staff and patients, and hear about our exciting future plans and new services.💜

Preet was particularly interested to hear how people on long NHS waiting lists can use patient choice to ask their GP for a referral to an alternative provider. One of those patients was Veteran, Derrick Clarke who travelled from Peterborough to Birmingham for joint surgery after asking his GP for a referral to the hospital using NHS Patient Choice. He has successfully had his hip and knee replaced at the hospital in under six months - cutting months off his expected wait on his local NHS hospital's waiting list.
