As the festive season approaches, we know it can be a difficult time for those remembering loved ones. We warmly invite you and your families to our annual Service of Remembrance, featuring music, prayer, a period of reflection and the opportunity to light a candle in memory of someone special.

📍 St. Edburgha’s Church, Yardley
📅 Sunday 14th December 2025
⏰ 4pm

The service will be followed by refreshments and mince pies, giving a chance to share memories and find comfort together.

Our local cemeteries across Solihull, Coleshill and Birmingham will be visited by a local Priest throughout November for an annual blessing. Families are welcome to attend.

The annual blessing is a special moment for those who have loved ones that have been laid to rest in the cemeteries. A Catholic tradition, it is a way of respecting the dead and blessing their places of burial. For some, the graveyard can be a very sad and lonely place. It can mean so much to people and their grief journey to have these celebrations and blessings.

This week marks Baby Loss Awareness Week – a time to come together, remember and raise awareness of the families who have experienced the heartbreak of losing a baby.
