Monday Mess! 🎨

We got the paints out this Monday and dove into some wonderfully messy finger painting fun!

We love activities like this — where creativity and a little bit of mess go hand in hand ✨ Residents and their relatives all joined in, making it a lovely shared experience full of colour, laughter, and imagination.

Sometimes the messiest moments are the most magical 💛

Yesterday, we hopped in a taxi and enjoyed a lovely day trip to Webbs Garden Centre 🌼

Our residents had a wonderful time browsing the displays and enjoying a delicious lunch together🍴

Christine joined us to socialise and share our upcoming events at Austin Rose with customers and staff🥰

Barbara made a beeline for her favourite aisle, exploring the beautiful range of colourful knitting materials — perfect inspiration as she prepares to host our next Knit and Natter session 🧶

Rosie was especially touched by the outing and shared her gratitude with the activities team through a heartfelt hug 💛

Austin Rose thoroughly enjoyed Pancake Day this year! 🥞

We were delighted to use our Activities Coordinator, Iva’s grandad’s special recipe for the occasion🥹

Residents got involved every step of the way — from mixing the batter to pouring, flipping, and decorating their very own pancakes🫗

The delicious smell filled the entire home, and everyone enjoyed a tasty treat throughout the day!🤤

Last week, we had a Band come in, and our residents had a fantastic time exploring and playing a variety of musical instruments! 🎶

Everyone loved the experience and enjoyed the opportunity to create some wonderful music of their own. It was a joyful and engaging session for all involved!🙏🏼
