Today at Circle Rehabilitation, our therapy team organised Rehab-Friendly Olympic Games for our patients 🏅
With 7 fun activity stations, there was plenty of laughter, teamwork, and amazing effort all around! 💪😊
Everyone finished as a winner, receiving a certificate of participation and celebrating with some delicious chocolate cake 🍰👏

Did someone say pancakes? 🥞😋
Today, to celebrate Pancake Day, our patients enjoyed a fun session in the therapy kitchen making their own pancakes and decorating them with the support of our in-house chef and therapy team. Moments like these make rehabilitation even sweeter!💙👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

This photograph was taken at Circle Rehab's rehabilitation centre in Pebble Mill Road last week and features Indi and Steph from our Family and Carer Services team (in their turquoise Headway tops) with staff & patients/ex-patients from Circle Rehab and representatives from Irwin Mitchell.

The group had gathered for a new initiative, a patient/carer forum which aims to provide emotional support, information and guidance on acquired brain injury to patients/ex-patients and their families.

The scheme is in its very early stages but is sure to prove a useful platform for greater liaison and more information-sharing.

A Walk of Hope that speaks volumes—about courage, recovery, and the power of never giving up.
Anika spent 5 months at Circle Rehabilitation, and her journey has been nothing short of remarkable. She shared:
“When I arrived, I was fully hoisted and felt completely overwhelmed by how far away recovery seemed. To now be leaving and walking out of the centre feels like nothing short of a miracle. Something I once believed was impossible has become my reality, and that is entirely because of the incredible people at Circle.”
Anika goes on to say:
“I owe a huge, heartfelt thank you to my physiotherapists, Catlin and Sam, for getting me back on my feet, and to my occupational therapist, Sameera, for working tirelessly to help me regain my independence and confidence at home. I never imagined I would walk again—and yet here I am. What everyone helped me achieve feels unbelievable, and I will never forget it.”
