We are Church Rose, part of the Macc CareGroup; a sought-after and respected group of care homes, in and around Birmingham. There are 5 other homes currently within the Macc Care group; Priestley Rose, Meadow Rose, Wulfrun Rose, Abbey Rose and Austin Rose. All Macc Care homes, are recognised by the CQC, and are providers of high quality nursing under the NHS continuing healthcare framework. We recently visited Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery and had a great time appreciating fine arts , metalworks and history. Did you know that the Art Gallery has an extensive collection of paintings ranging from 14th to 21st century? Definitely worth visiting!

Our care doesn’t stop even after death. One of our beloved resident sadly passed away this week. As there is no family nearby who can register the death, we supported them through the process. and beyond

This week, we're celebrating our head chef, Anas, who was highly commended in the 'Chef of the Year' category at the Great British Care Awards 2025.

Having already won in the regionals, this recognition at national level is testament to the dedication and creativity he puts into every dish.

We are thrilled to share the exciting news that Macc Care’s Executive Chef Anas, has been nominated for Chef of the Year at the Care Home Catering Awards 2025!

This is such a well-deserved recognition of his exceptional talent and dedication to providing outstanding meals for those living within our homes.

The winners will be revealed at the Care Home Catering Forum later this year, which promises to be an inspiring event. The one-day conference, taking place on June 5th at the iconic Farmers & Fletchers Hall in Barbican, London, will feature a range of insightful speakers and a dedicated exhibition showcasing some of the UK's leading suppliers in the care home catering sector.

We couldn't be more excited for this incredible achievement and look forward to celebrating Anas's continued success! 🎉
