I’ve walked through the kind of mental and physical hell that leaves scars you can’t even see. I’ve been the person who cracked under pressure, smiled through the breakdowns, and learned the hard way that mental health isn’t just a hashtag — it’s the difference between surviving and going under.⁣

I wasn’t the best fighter because I spent too long wrestling with my own demons and trying to be everyone’s hero but my own. And now? I’m here to make damn sure the next generation of fighters doesn’t have to drown in that same darkness.⁣

So here’s the cold truth: I’m turning every piece of my own broken road into a map that’ll keep someone else out of that pit. I want them tougher, smarter, and mentally stronger, without having to lose themselves first.⁣

If my own battles can keep even one fighter from hitting that same rock bottom, then every scar was worth it.⁣

November gets labelled as Men’s Mental Health Month, but let’s be honest — slapping a calendar sticker on it doesn’t fix a damn thing. Men don’t struggle on a schedule. It’s not a “30-day trial” for dealing with your own head. It’s every day, every week, 365 — no off-season, no half-time.⁣

And that sugar-coated slogan — “it’s okay not to be okay”?⁣
That’s the biggest lie of them all.⁣
For men, being “not okay” doesn’t get compassion — it gets distance. People recoil, conversations dry up, and suddenly you’re “too much.” The world loves the idea of struggling men… until they meet a real one.⁣

But the darkest part?⁣
It’s the circus performers who weaponise their fake tears for clout.⁣
The ones who drag mental health into the spotlight like it’s content, not suffering.⁣
They stage their sadness, rehearse their breakdowns, and call it “awareness,” while real or men sit in silence because they don’t want to be mistaken for some influencer melt auditioning for pity.⁣

Men don’t need pity posts.⁣
Men don’t need staged breakdowns.⁣
Men need honesty, proper support, and the freedom to say “I’m struggling” without being branded weak or compared to some influencer melt filming his fake panic attack in portrait mode.⁣

Mental health isn’t a trend.⁣
It’s a war.⁣
And most men are fighting it completely alone.⁣

It takes YEARS to become a fighter and even longer to become a coach.⁣
I’ve been at this over 25 years and I still hesitate to call myself either — that’s the level of respect this craft demands.⁣

So don’t get it twisted…⁣
Doing an 8-week taster session, throwing sloppy 1-2s, and paying to be on a white-collar card doesn’t make you a “fighter.”⁣
It makes you someone who bought a costume and hoped nobody noticed the tag still attached.⁣

The title is earned in empty gyms, bloody changing rooms, bad surgeries, broken sleep, and nights so dark you forget where the world ends and you begin. The kind of silence that chews on your thoughts and makes you wonder why you ever chose this road — and why you still can’t bear to leave it.⁣
