Wendy Mitcham Curative Hypnotherapy, West Midlands

Wendy Mitcham Curative Hypnotherapy, West Midlands Wendy is a qualified, registered and accredited Curative Hypnotherapist working from her own private consulting room based on the outskirts of Birmingham.

Specialising in an advanced form of hypnotherapy treatment, Wendy uses the state of hypnosis not to manage or suppress the symptom in any way but to identify the Root Cause and correct the underlying information. With this corrected, the symptom can then naturally be disposed of; not just completely but permanently. Unlike many mainstream therapies and treatments, which look to help a person manage their issue or condition through various coping strategies and techniques, Curative Hypnotherapy looks to understand WHY your problem has come to exist in the first place and why it is now being maintained. In this way, we can identify the Root Cause and correct any faulty underlying information. With this corrected, there will no longer be a belief or a need for your issue or condition, meaning this can then naturally be disposed of. Suitable for a wide range of physical, emotional, behavioural and mental issues and conditions. Please see my website for more details: www.wmitchamhypno.co.uk

Appointments can be made by email to wmitchamhypno@gmail.com or by telephoning the practice on 07491 140525.

We've all faced unprecedented challenges throughout the Coronavirus pandemic. It's perhaps no wonder then, that as we begin emerging from lockdown, many are struggling to adjust to the 'new normal' and are fearful of what life might look like. How might we start to adapt and rebuild our confidence and self-image?

Let's raise awareness and fight stigma this Mental Health Awareness Week - 18th to 24th May. Because no-one should have to fear being treated differently because of a mental health problem.

And remember - checking in with each other during the current crisis is more important than ever.

Let's be mindful of others and support each other during this difficult time. We're all in this together. 👇

***** CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) - PRACTICE UPDATE *****

It is with deep regret that the Practice has taken the unprecedented and extremely difficult decision to temporarily suspend all incoming, scheduled and ongoing appointments until further notice,* given the ongoing and increasing uncertainty surrounding Coronavirus. All current patients have been notified.

This is, obviously, a most unfortunate situation and this decision has not been taken lightly. However, given the current circumstances, we believe it only prudent to take all recommended and reasonable precautionary measures, so as to safeguard our health, as well as that of our patients and the wider community. The Practice apologises for any inconvenience and disruption caused and appreciates your ongoing support and understanding at this difficult time.

We will, of course, continue to keep both our current patients and the public updated as to when it may be possible for us to (re)schedule appointments, just as soon as the Coronavirus situation becomes clearer. In the meantime, should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us at wmitchamhypno@gmail.com or on 07491 140525.

*The Practice will continue to open as usual for correspondence and enquiries. We will also continue to take new patient booking requests but these will need to be put on a waiting list until further notice.

Some important self-care tips here - not just useful for those suffering with health anxiety but also beneficial for us all to take heed of as we deal with the current outbreak.

'The Coronavirus does not need to escalate your health anxiety unless you give it the power to do so. Take back your power and believe in yourself.'

While countries are dealing with mass breakouts of Coronavirus, there are many people with health anxiety going into crisis with their mental health. It is difficult to get away from the conversations
