💫 Team Midland Health at the DKMS Charity Ball

This weekend, we joined the DKMS Charity Ball to support their incredible mission — giving people with blood cancer a second chance at life. 💗

Hearing the stories of families who’ve lost loved ones, and those still waiting for a match, was deeply moving. Too many lives are cut short simply because a suitable stem cell donor couldn’t be found.

People from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds make up less than 15% of the UK’s stem cell donor register — and that means patients from these communities are far less likely to find a life-saving match.

🩸 Blood cancer can affect anyone, but the chance of finding a donor depends on your ethnicity.
If you’re from a South Asian, Black, or mixed heritage background, you could be the match that saves someone’s life.

Be part of the change:
✨ Visit
✨ Request a free swab kit
✨ Send it back — and join the register

It’s simple. It’s free. And it could save a life.
Every new donor matters. 💫

Feeling tired, achy, or low in mood? It could be a sign of Vitamin D deficiency — something many people don’t realise they’re at risk of.

Dr Rupa Parmar, GP and Medical Director at Midland Health, shares the subtle symptoms to watch for and simple ways to keep your levels healthy this autumn:

Spend 10–15 minutes outside a few times a week

Eat oily fish, eggs, and fortified cereals

Consider a daily supplement when sunlight is limited

Dr. Bayli ensures every patient gets the right advice, the correct device size, and a personalised plan. Surgery is only considered if conservative treatments aren’t effective — because your wellbeing always comes first.

🚨 Recent media reports have highlighted serious risks from fake or black-market weight loss injections being sold online and administered without medical supervision.

At Midland Health, your safety always comes first.

If you’re considering medical weight loss treatment, here’s what you should look for:

✅ CQC-regulated clinic — ensures medication comes from MHRA-approved supply chains

👩‍⚕️ Doctor-led prescribing — our GPs monitor your progress and adjust doses safely

💉 Authentic medication — we only use prescription-only medicines such as Wegovy and Mounjaro

🩺 Ongoing support — including monthly reviews with a weight loss nurse, dietitian input, and mental health guidance

💡 To achieve the best and safest results, weight loss injections should always be prescribed, monitored, and managed by qualified medical experts.

These medications can be highly effective — but only when used safely and under proper medical supervision.

👉 Choose a trusted, regulated clinic for your health journey.
