Defibrillator just been updated with new pads can't believe nearly 3 years since installed in the Village.

This equipment has the potential to save the lives of those experiencing cardiac arrest, in the event of needing the defibrillator you need to call 999 to gain the access code to the machine which is based in the centre of the village at the Old School House, Jubilee Street.

After two months this life saving device has been installed in our Village, it has been obtained twice by members of the public calling 999 Ambulance Service. Thankfully on both occassions it wasn't needed to be used but was ready to potentially save someone's life. Remember in the event off needing the Defibrillator call 999 to obtain the access code for the device.

LAUNCH DAY FOR TORONTO DEFIBRILLATOR

We can now confirm it's all ready and available to use 24 hours a day 365 days a year. This equipment has the potential to save the lives of those experiencing cardiac arrest, in the event of needing the defibrillator you need to call 999 to gain the access code to the machine which is based in the centre of the village at the Old School House, Jubilee Street.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to this great cause and made it happened but special thanks has to go to Phil and Tom at Rotary North East "One Life Initiative", Paul and Rhys at P Hope Paving Services, Luke the Electrician and to Liz and Ann for support with the campaign.

There will be further work completed soon but we want to give people a update that it's now LIVE.

Just a quick update to say the Defibrillator and Case has arrived this afternoon from Rotary North East 'One Life Initiative' and will be installed as soon as possible. Thank you to everyone for their support and donations to this amazing life saving equipment for our Village.

Thank you to Paul and Rhys Hope of P Hope Paving Specialists for providing their services free of charge this afternoon to install the underground armoured electrical cable ready for our Village Defibrillator. We have now raised over £1,500 over the last two weeks and is now on order and will be installed very soon. Thank you to the lads, everyone involved and the generous donations.
