Saturday 18th October why not come along and join us for our fundraiser night at West Auckland WMC. Tickets are priced at £5 and are available from Devonshire House care home or West Auckland WMC, CASH ONLY. we have the brilliant Jukebox boy singing for us along with a disco, bingo and a raffle. Lets make this a night to remember for everyone and all money raised will go to our residents funds so they can continue to enjoy special treats throughout the year.

Are you a caring person who would like to make a difference? We are looking for people to join our care team in a small, family ran, care home.

We are looking for people for the following vacancies:

Night Duty Care Worker - One night per week (10 hours) flexible days with the opportunity for further shifts during periods of annual leave.

Day shift Care Worker - Bank staff required to help to cover during sickness and holiday periods.

These roles are perfect for someone looking for a role with flexible working hours. We offer a variety of different length shifts, 7 days a week.

Experience is preferred, but not necessary as all training is provided, and we offer all of our staff the chance to work towards a Diploma in Health and Social Care.

MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING

Devonshire house will be hosting a coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan on 25th September at 10.30am.

Today some of our residents took part in an exercise class, using bean bags & resistance bands to work on their strength and coordination. Followed by ice lollies & drinks to cool everyone down!
