Step away from the noise and give your nervous system the reset it's been craving.

You'll be welcomed with a warm drink and light snacks as you settle in and begin to soften. We'll pull an oracle card for guidance, exploring the energy and messages that want to come through for you right now. You'll have space to journal and reflect on what lands.

Then we meet your body exactly where it's at. No pushing, no forcing. We'll practice gentle lymphatic drainage as self-care (a gentle way to reduce puffiness and calm your nervous system), ease through some mindful mobility to let go of tension, then ease into a guided meditation and Reiki drumming journey or sound bath that lets you properly relax.

I haven't owned a microwave for 15+ years. On the rare occasion I buy a ready meal, I always decant it into glass before cooking it. Plastic is unstable when it heats... I don't care what any packaging says... Also - swap your plastic cooking utensils for stainless steel.

A literature review conducted by Greenpeace concluded that heating food in plastic packaging—even ready-to-heat meals labeled as “microwave-safe” or “oven-safe”—may significantly increase the migration of microplastics and chemical additives into food.

That's because your nervous system doesn't speak English. It speaks in vibration, rhythm, and sensation.
Reiki drumming bypasses all the thinking and goes straight to the ancient parts of you that remember what safety feels like.
The drum beats at around 4 beats per second, the frequency that entrains your brain into theta state. That deeply meditative place where actual healing happens.

"I don't have time" how often do you tell yourself this wee lie?
You don't have time to rest. To stop. To listen to your body.

But you somehow have time to:
Scroll Instagram for 20+ minutes
Binge watch the latest season of whatever on Netflix
Have that pointless meeting that could've been an email
Worry about everything at 3am
Feel disconnected and off-kilter all day

I have been there too, and still have to check myself from time to time!

Your body needs 90 minutes.
Just 90 minutes to actually press pause and reconnect.

If you are really honest with yourself, you have the time, you're just not prioritising it. Feeling overwhelmed is familiar, almost comfortably uncomfortable… What would it feel like to not feel this way?

I am always tweaking my classes to bring them into line with my current education and understanding of how the body works best...

Fascia Pilates:
I've fused classical Pilates with fascia release techniques to address what's restricting movement. Using simple tools like tennis balls, bands, a rolled-up towel, light weights and breath, we release impacted fascia, decompress joints, and get your body moving freely again.
All movements are an invitation to explore what's going on in your body to improve movement, flexibility, coordination, balance and strength.

Breathe, Move, Relax:
Is a gentle, all seated/lying down class. Connection to breath with different breathing techniques to help reset the nervous system, hand and foot self-massage, gentle mobility for all joints and muscles, ending with a guided meditation. Equipment for this class: cream or oil for self-massage, blanket, pillow.

It's world book day, and this year my book (that I never tell anyone I wrote 🙈) is 10 years old!

both versions are mine, the top one is the updated version with most of the grammar tidied up (lesson - record the audiobook before you hit publish so you can see where sentences are too long!).

Anyway... it is really good. I was quite impressed with myself when I recorded the audiobook and often go back to my own lessons and check in with myself!
