Satisfaction comes from chasing adventure not pleasure.

Chasing pleasure is like eating sweets before dinner — quick hits, empty aftertaste.

Adventure feeds something deeper.

It’s the messy road trip, the wild detour, the thing you nearly chickened out of but didn’t.

Barbara has been taking my class for a while now and she’s still coming back for more!

We’ve been through a few changes within the class, trying out different formats, and now I think we’ve got the best format yet!

We start with a mobility based warm-up, moving the joints through a comfortable range of motion.

Then on to the meat of the class - a Tabata style class which consists of 20 seconds of exercise followed by 10 seconds of rest - we explore 5 different moves which are a mix of cardio, strength and mobility.

Then we put the moves together to create a mini flow which allows us to work on transitioning from floor to standing or testing our balance through a range of movement (or testing our brains - remembering the moves!)

This is absolutely true!

Whether it’s a stroll or sitting at a park bench, getting outside and in contact with nature significantly lowers stress hormone levels.

It’s easy to see why when the weather is this gorgeous.

Over the years I’ve done lots of different kind of walking.

Early morning walks, long marathon hikes, and steep hill walking!

Walking out in nature is one of those staple things that keeps me going.

And the science backs it up!
