It’s not the cellulite.
It’s the pelvic floor dysfunction…

From running a marathon to hardly running a mile without stopping.

Im a huge advocate for getting back into exercise early postpartum. I’ve done it before. In the gym at 4 weeks.

But not this time my friend….

4 kids.
2 under 2.
Winter baby.
Little social support.
PND
Sleep deprivation
Prolapse
Haemorrhoids
Surgery
Relocation.

Am I really that surprised I couldn’t keep on top of it? NO
Did I berate myself and make myself feel like s**t for not holding the one standard I had been preaching for the last 3 years. YUP

If you are at the magic 12 month mark postpartum and you havnt ticked all the boxes you thought you would then let me reassure you are not alone and there is still time for you to achieve your goals.

Research has shown even elite athletes struggle to return to sport postpartum.
