Today we celebrate World Radiography Day - recognising the outstanding work of our radiography professionals here at Beardwood Hospital.

From diagnosis to treatment, our radiographers play a vital role in delivering safe, accurate and compassionate care. Their expertise helps guide clinical decisions and ensures every patient receives the highest standard of care.

This year’s celebration was one of our best yet, thanks to the efforts of Meryem, Laura, Tayyibah and the entire Diagnostic Imaging Team - who helped make the day so special, and to Sam for organising a brilliant hospital-wide scavenger hunt. Well done to Michelle from our Cancer Centre for winning!

Our hospital was full of energy with our X-ray selfie station, Red Dot Quiz, X-ray Quiz, and plenty of sweet treats and prizes for everyone who joined in. Showcasing the importance of Radiography to all of our staff and consultants.
