Important update if you or a loved one uses an emergency alarm pendant.

The UK's landline network is changing. If your alarm plugs into a phone socket, it needs to be compatible with the new digital system. Don't worry, your safety lifeline won't be cut off. Here’s what to do:

• Contact your landline provider (like BT or Virgin Media) and tell them you have a telecare alarm.
• Call your alarm company (like us at Careium!) to check if your device needs an upgrade.

BT has a new service where they will send an engineer to test everything works before switching you over. They will be contacting customers by letter, inviting them to book or confirm an appointment with an Openreach engineer.

We’ve chosen Help For Heroes as our official UK Charity of the Year for 2026, and our team couldn’t be prouder!

For us, it’s about more than fundraising, it’s about standing alongside those who have given so much. As a company built on care, we feel a true connection to the unwavering support Help for Heroes provides to veterans and their families.
