Meet The Team - Carol

I’ve worked for Home Instead for 2.5yrs & have loved every minute of it.
What I love most about my role is the variety, every single day is different, one minute you are sorting the scheduling for upcoming weeks the next you are out on the road to check that a client is ok.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family.
Having worked in my previous workplace for over 19 years the thought of leaving was terrifying but after spending the morning with Pete & the team I just knew that I was making the right decision. Whether you are someone thinking about becoming a Cre Professional or someone in need of care then you really don’t need to look any further than Home Instead, the flexibility with rotas & schedules & the genuine care that we have is like nowhere else I know.

Meet The Team - Jean

Hi, my name is Jean, I’ve worked for Home Instead for nearly nine years now, I started out as a care professional, going out visiting and caring for our clients.
I have never done any type of care work before, but soon realised that I loved the role, no two days, or clients were the same.
I have had the pleasure of meeting and caring for some lovey people.
A year ago, I left the carer role and joined the team in the office. I started learning new skills, such as training, completing support visits and checking that our clients are happy with their care. Socialising and going out and meeting new clients for the first time, is one of the roles I really enjoy.
Away from work I enjoy spending time with my family, walking and going to the cinema

Meet The Team - Kerry - Care Manager

As a Care Manager at Home Instead, I bring seven years of experience and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional, person‑centred care. I began my journey with the company as a Care Professional, where I quickly connected with Home Instead’s ethos and its commitment to providing outstanding support to every individual.

Over the years, I’ve been involved in all aspects of the business — training, recruitment, marketing, and scheduling — giving me a strong understanding of how each part of the organisation contributes to high‑quality, personalised care. This broad experience helps me support both our clients and our care teams with insight, empathy, and a focus on excellence.

Outside of work, I love travelling, spending time with my family, and doing my best to stay active. I’ve completed four London Marathons, each one in support of a different charity — something I’m incredibly proud of. These days, I’m enjoying swimming, which is a little kinder on my knees but still keeps me moving.

I’m proud to be part of a team that puts people first and strives to make a meaningful difference every day.

Never underestimate the difference that you can make.

Having had two negative experiences with care agencies, I was hesitant about working with Home Instead. I was spending large parts of each day caring for my mum’s needs. I pride myself on having high standards and had taken back the care of mum because I couldn’t find the care that mum needed and deserved. Home Instead promised that their care would be very different and of high standard… and I have not been disappointed!!! I am THRILLED with the care that Home Instead provides for mum. Their attention to detail is fantastic- so much so that I have got my life back- back to being caring son rather than carer!
The Home Instead leadership and staff are AMAZING. They really do understand and appreciate mum and even before her care started they spent a long time making sure that everything was set up carefully and that mum and I were fully involved. There carers are a complete breath of fresh air! Mature, friendly and positive. They come on time, stay for an hour and are completely involved with focused care for mum’s needs- practical, physical, mental and emotional. First class care!
The app is brilliant. I have shown it to many of my friends and they can’t believe the level of detail and feedback that I receive for every visit. No one has told me of any other care agency that goes this far in order to care for the person needing care and includes their family to such an extent as Home Instead does.
I do and have already recommended Home Instead to a number of people without any reservation. I have noticed a very positive change in mum and also in myself and our family.
When choosing a care agency the sign of a great one is how it brings about positive change for all of the family and this is what Home Instead has done for us. THANK YOU
