Anxiety isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it’s smiling while you’re suffocating inside,
Or laughing with friends while your mind’s somewhere else,
Sometimes it’s people thinking your being moody but your just struggling inside 😕

I know how heavy that can feel but you don’t have to live with it 🤗

⏳ Why do we keep putting stuff off?

Funny isn’t it?
We know how good we’ll feel once we just do it, go to the gym, send that message, tidy up, make that call,
but somehow… we still don’t 😆🫣

We tell ourselves we’ll be more motivated later, or wait for the ‘right time.’
Truth is, procrastination isn’t laziness. Most of the time it’s just overwhelm, fear, or that little voice whispering, ‘What if it goes wrong?’

I see this all the time with the women I work with and yep, I’ve been there too.

💛 Tip: I find if I’m putting something off on the tougher days it helps if I ask myself:
👉🏻‘Would future Jess thank me for this
if I do it right now?’ (And the answer is usually yes which helps spur me on) 😊

Future you is already cheering you on…you’ve just got to start ✅⏳🤗

🥣🌧️Soak it all in…

I was in Preston town centre the other day and it was cold & starting to rain, I walked past Greggs and thought I’d grab something to eat, (cheese pasty dipped in Greggs tomato soup 🥫 thank me later).

I sat down squashed between a younger girl on one side and two ladies chatting on other. I wouldn’t normally listen in to someone’s conversation but if you ever decide to sit in Greggs you’ll see how small the tables are and also how squashed together 🙃😂

So I had no choice but listen to the two ladies talking, obviously I only caught half of the conversation but one of the ladies said, ‘we only get one life so every day is so important’ the other nodded, and she carried on….’every day is so important but everyone takes them for granted’.
I didn’t listen to the rest as that sentence as (I was trying hard not to be nosey 🤥😂) but I’d git caught up in that one sentence…

We hear all the time ‘You only get one life’ but no one really says ‘every day is so important’

I realised how many of us, every day, will rush through the little moments…always planning the next thing, trying to be better, do more. But life happens in the pauses, right in the middle of ordinary moments, in the rain, with soup and squashed between strangers conversations.

🌟 Finding Quiet Confidence

I recently worked with a lovely lady, let’s call her Emma. When she first came to me, she was quietly doubting herself, second guessing her decisions, & feeling like she had to shrink to fit in. It was just a subtle weight she carried every day.

Through our sessions, Emma began noticing the little ways she could honour herself. She started listening to her instincts, taking small moments for herself without guilt & gently setting boundaries where she needed them. Slowly, quietly, her confidence began to grow.

The change wasn’t dramatic…there were no grand gestures, but it was real. She started trusting herself more, speaking her truth softly but firmly, and moving through her days with a calm, grounded sense of self-assurance.

💛 Takeaway: Confidence doesn’t have to be loud. It can grow quietly, in small, consistent choices that honour who you are.

💛 Tip: Today, notice one small, gentle way you can trust yourself…a decision, a boundary, or a moment of self-care. Even tiny steps build lasting confidence.

🌙 Slowing down

This time of year, everything in nature slows down.
The trees gently drop their leaves 🍂
Animals rest, restore, and prepare quietly for the weather ahead 🐄 🐿️ 🐑

Yet we often push ourselves to keep going at full speed…wondering why we feel tired or heavy 🫣

Your body and energy are part of nature too & just like winter, you’re meant to soften, pause, and gather strength before the next bloom 🌸

💛 Tip: Give yourself permission to do a little less this week. Notice how your body responds when you honour its natural rhythm.

When things feel ‘off’ 🫤

Ever notice how sometimes everything just feels… off?
You can’t quite put your finger on it…you’re doing all the ‘right’ things, but something underneath feels unsettled.

That’s your intuition whispering, ‘Hey, something needs your attention.’

🌿 💛 Give yourself permission to rest today. 💛 🌿

Sometimes we forget that slowing down isn’t lazy, it’s necessary! Your mind, body, and spirit all need a little pause to recharge, reset, and show up fully for the week ahead.

Today, it’s okay to:
🌿 Sit with a cup of tea without feeling guilty
🌿 Take a short walk and just breathe
🌿 Do nothing but lay in bed for a little while

Rest is not optional…it’s part of self-care, self-love, and giving yourself the space to thrive.

Let’s normalise resting without feeling guilty for it 🙃🫠
