Holding their hands as you say your final goodbyes.
I knew my child would want to hold or touch my Nana’s hands - she would sit on her knee and gently pinch the loose skin. After my Nans death, my child was included in the chapel visits and funeral. She had a lot to process and learn, so knowing that I didn’t have to explain hypostasis or post-mortem discolourations made it easier for me. ^Rachel
