🎃 It's fright night 🎃
But it doesn't need to be for everybody!

Halloween is a fun and exciting time for many, but it can be confusing or even frightening for some of our elderly or vulnerable neighbours. A little thought and kindness can make all the difference.

How to help your vulnerable relatives
• Let them know when they could expect trick-or-treaters
• Make use of signs to kindly ask children not to knock
• Check they have their doors locked and know who they are opening to

How the public can help
• Respect homes that do not have decorations or lights on
• Keep noise levels down in residential areas
• Encourage children to be polite, understanding and to only knock at homes that are decorated or have pumpkins outside

🎄Proud to Support Fylde Kids Foundation🎄

We are an official drop off point for the Fylde Kids Foundation Letters to Santa! 🎅

Parents and carers that have been approved for support can pop in to post their child’s letter and our team will make sure it reaches Santa himself via the FKF elves.

Together, we can help make wishes come true this Christmas ✨

For many parents and carers, payday has just arrived and with it comes the realisation that there is only one more before Christmas. The panic starts to set in, the worry grows as they try to stretch every penny with bills rising and the terrible weather we currently have meaning we need to have heating on longer.

If this sounds like you, please know that you do not have to suffer in silence.
You have a whole community behind you ready to help!! Kind people across the Fylde Coast are donating so that we can make sure no child on the Fylde coast wakes up to no gifts on Christmas morning or goes without food in their bellies.
All of our efforts year round are for this very reason, to be able to step in when families need it most. There is no shame in asking for help so please utilise us, it is what we are here for.

We do ask for some evidence, but only so that we can make sure the help reaches those who are genuine and need it most. The truth is, we very rarely have to turn anyone away.
