Do you struggle to make a GP or Nurse appointment during the week due to work and other commitments?

We do offer Out of Hours appointments through the Enhanced Access service.

Examples of appointments which are available are;
Wound Care
Blood test
ECG's (Saturdays only)
Ear Syringing
Cervical Screening
GP Appointments - telephone and face to face (Saturdays only)
And many more...

This service is available Monday-Friday evenings between 6.30pm-8.30pm and on Saturdays between 9-5pm and is based at South Shore Primary Care Centre on Lytham Road.

All appointments are bookable through our reception team.
Please let us know if you would prefer an appointment out of hours.

📢 Important reminder to all our patients!

Last week, a staggering 48 GP appointments were missed 😬, and there has been 6 appointments already missed this morning 😢

Please let us know if you can't attend as we can offer your appointment to someone else.

Patients which repeatedly fall to attend their appointments will be removed from our practice list.

If you've missed an appointment, please get in touch so we can rearrange. Let's work together to make the most of our healthcare resources.

Please remember that the Pharmacy can deal with a number of minor aliments such as tonsilitis, uti in women aged 16-64, ear ache in children etc

We would like to say a big well done to our inhouse Superhero 🦸‍♂️ Paramedic Matt 🚑.
Whilst Matt was returning from a well deserved holiday, his quick thinking and life saving training came into full force when a man at Liverpool Airport collapsed next to him. Matt quickly performed CPR and applied the defibrillator and due to Matt's quick life saving actions we have been informed that the patient has made a full recovery ❤️
FYI...Matt had not informed anyone of his heroic actions, but we were informed by Liverpool Airport.
