🎅🎁✨❤️ GIVING TUESDAY 2025 ❤️✨🎁🎅

Giving Tuesday is a movement that inspires people to do good. It encourages people to give back to their communities and support various causes.

This year we are once again taking part in the Blackpool Salvation Army's Christmas Present appeal. Thanks to our generous staff, we've already collected many gifts to donate to children, young people and vulnerable adults who might otherwise have little or nothing to open on Christmas morning.

We will be dropping off all the gifts on Thursday 4th December so if anybody else would like to donate then you're welcome to stop by our office with your gifts before then or your local Salvation army donation points. Our Story

Westmorland Homecare was founded by Doctors Josh Macaulay and Chris Moss with Director Russell Crossley. They had experience of caring for people in their NHS roles as an A&E doctor and Anaesthetist as well as family experience but wanted to help people more than just whilst in hospital.

Going into hospital can be a scary experience for anyone and the feeling of getting back home is like no other. As they say, there’s no place like home. We saw people come into hospital after having poor care at home and saw people who couldn’t return to their own homes because the right support wasn’t available for them. This was when Westmorland Homecare was born.

Our service was founded in the lake district and has now grown to cover Cumbria and Lancashire.

We believe that no longer should people be forced into care homes and nursing homes, no longer should people suffer ill health and poor quality of life. Every individual should be free to remain in their home as long as they wish, they should be able to be as active and independent as ever before and should continue to have rich and fulfilling lives. We want our clients to thrive and live life to the full no matter what age they are. That is our mission and something we are dedicated to delivering every day.

Our mission is simple. To enrich the lives of both our clients and staff and to enable our clients to live life to the full at every stage of their life.

We aim to help all our clients to stay happy, healthy and active by delivering a tailor made service which is personalised to their wishes, preferences and needs. We want to be the best care provider in the world and want to act as a new pioneering model for care that changes the way care is delivered across the globe.

We want our homecare assistants to be shining examples of the best of humanity lead by a world class support structure and passionate office team. We want to change people’s lives and make people happy 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year.
